About ECO-Bridal
ECO-Bridal Gowns was founded by its owners, Andrea and Mariella Silva-Molina, in November of 2009 as an online business. The business idea emerged after Andrea’s personal unsuccessful experience seeking for pre-owned “Green” wedding dress. Later, her wedding was cancelled and not knowing what to do with the brand new dress made her identify a need in Denver’s bridal market. She noticed Denver lacked upscale bridal consignment stores with a “green” mentality. Together, Andrea and her mother, Mariella launched ECO-Bridal Gowns with the mission to save some green all around. ECO-Bridal Gowns not only stands for recycling designer, vintage, sample and gently used wedding dresses and formal wear, but also for saving its clients some green by maintaining ECO-nomical price points.
The business has quickly exceeded expectations, outgrowing the initial 450 square feet storefront in less than a year, it now has relocated in the Jefferson Park neighborhood into a 1,400 square feet building. In 2010 they ranked in 3rd place for best wedding dresses in Denver’s Channel 7 A-List and 2nd place in 2011. Their clientele is 80% referral based due to their extraordinaire personalized “one bride at a time” customer service policy.
In addition ECO-Bridal Gowns has made it a point to partner with local designers offering handmade veils and headpieces by various local designers. In the future ECO-Bridal Gowns hopes to launch its own ECO-Line of destination wedding dresses and continue to grow its customer base.
